January 6th: A letter from our Board President, Linda Fields

January 6th, marks a historical moment in American history. This will forever represent the acknowledgement that in-spite of the attempts to disrupt the process, American Democracy prevails. In commemoration of the historic event that occurred in my birth year, the YWCA National Convention in conjunction with local associations and the National Board took bold steps towards inclusion.

It is both a privilege and an honor to be part of YWCA Tri-County Area. This thriving community has successfully impacted the lives and futures of so many families. As we continue our mission, we look forward to embracing and empowering all those we touch.

I am wishing you and your family a Happy New Year. I take this opportunity to thank all of you for the great contributions made this past year. I thank all of you for your support and commitment to YWCA Tri-County Area. We have many more projects lined up next year and I am sure with your dedication and determination we will be able to complete those also in time. I thank you all for your support and hope this relationship continues and we achieve success together.

I celebrate my birthday, I kindly ask for you to make a donation to YWCA Tri-County Area. The mission of eliminating racism and empowering women is something I am passionate about and would appreciate in you joining me in that same mission. Donations can be made at www.ywcatricountyarea.org.

I thank you in advance for your generosity and look forward to your continued support of YWCA Tri-County Area, both now and in the future.

Let’s continue the mission of the YWCA and America.

Best Wishes,

Linda Fields, Board President
