YWCA Tri-County Area Launches Career Café in Pottstown’s Adult Education & Training Center

Adult job seekers are invited to participate in YWCA Tri-County Area’s first Career Café at the Adult Education and Training Center from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, March 4. This event will provide free education and training workshops designed to help participants establish steady employment. Career Café will repeat the first Friday of each month.

Career Café will provide free and convenient access to the services of PA CareerLink®, a proud partner of the American Job Center Network. A PA CareerLink® representative, employment coaches, and AmeriCorps DAWN members will be present at the event to provide one-on-one support. Participants of the event will receive quality guidance through job searches, career navigation, and vocational skills training. Participants also will have access to information about other YW3CA resources, such as high school equivalency classes, English as a Second Language classes, support for female entrepreneurs, and online workshops.

PA CareerLink® Montgomery County is Montgomery County’s go-to workforce development program, helping adults discover employment and build strong careers. Career Café bringing PA CareerLink® Montgomery County services and information to Pottstown. No unemployment services will be offered during the event.
