Families have until November 15 to apply for the increased federal Child Tax Credit for 2021.
Program Assistance
YWCA Tri-County Area and the Dignified Advancement Workforce Navigation (DAWN) program offer assistance to families applying for the Child Tax Credit, part of the American Rescue Plan. The credit provides up to $300/month per child younger than 6, and up to $250/month for children 6-17.
DAWN navigators can help families determine their eligibility for the Child Tax Credit, as well as for other federal and state tax credits available to families with minor children.
