Make Kindness the Norm. Today and Everyday!

National Random Acts of Kindness Day, observed nationally on Saturday, February 17th, serves as a reminder of the power inherent in small acts of kindness. It’s a day to embrace kindness and inspire others to do the same. You don’t need a grand strategy to make a difference; sometimes, all it takes is a simple gesture within your circle of influence to brighten someone’s day.

At YW3CA, we’re expanding this day into a week-long celebration, starting Thursday, February 15th, in collaboration with West Chester University Students. Together, we’ll be spreading kindness throughout the community by distributing cards of encouragement and special treats. These acts of generosity aim to bring joy to recipients and contribute to the overall happiness and well-being of our community.

Since 1908, YW3CA has been dedicated to serving Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties, engaging and supporting our diverse community through various programs and outreach efforts. Our mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all drives everything we do.
