Jacob Venable’s educational journey underwent a transformative turn upon entering YW3CA’s Adult Education and Training Center. Jacob shared that having completed only the 9th grade, “anxiety gripped me before. I doubted my abilities to pass the GED exams.”
However, after acquiring the knowledge and proficiency necessary to succeed through dedicated classes and guidance from YW3CA’s educators, “I discovered I had passed. My mom and I couldn’t contain our tears of joy. It was an immense relief! The Adult Education program at YW3CA instilled belief in me. They nurtured my confidence and consistently motivated me to strive for my best. As soon as I earned my diploma, I enrolled in college. I have now eagerly begun classes at Montgomery County Community College.”
